Fleur de Lis was commissioned to create a private restaurant that exuded opulence yet comfortable with the tone of a gentleman’s club was the mandate for this private restaurant designed for the Vancouver Canucks Food and Beverage Team. The concept of a “Loge” Restaurant is revolutionizing the arena going patrons. Groups of 6 seats in Prime Box Level are sold coupled with a private table for 6 at the gourmet restaurant. Designing a restaurant for this elite clientele assured full turnover of its 80 seat capacity between hockey periods was the challenge. The solution was a mixture of circular pods and linear banquettes. A warm palate of rich walnut, smoky blue velvets, leathers, suedes and hints of chrome blend in a modern yet inviting space. A glass wine cellar dominates. Exotic marble on bar waterfalls to the floor in a graphic, natural pattern and hand-blown hockey puck and hockey stick chandeliers elevate the arena experience to a world of high art. Clubby enough to be happening. Classy enough to be timeless.
